Case Study: Resources for the Future, Extending the Cure

Raising awareness, extending the cure.

The nonprofit and nonpartisan think tank needed to create awareness for Extending the Cure, a research and consultative initiative framing the growing problem of antibiotic resistance. Resources for the Future wanted its communications to be more compelling than standard scientific data to reach the widest possible audience.

Rock Creek was challenged to develop an aesthetic that got people interested in reading the Extending the Cure report and learning more about the issue. Rock Creek created an identity for the initiative, designed and produced an inaugural scientific report, and designed and developed a website supporting the effort.  The report clearly communicates its message while looking different from other scientific reports, in both communication style and visual impact, and the user-friendly website effectively supports the effort.
