Consolidating the evolution of development economics.
The World Bank’s annual WDR is a guide to the economic, social, and environmental state of the world today, providing in-depth analysis of a specific aspect of development. Unfortunately, this highly valuable data was not easily accessible to users, who had no way to quickly search the reports to find the information that was most relevant to them.
Rock Creek designed a browser-based DVD product that combined 30 years of WDR-related data into a consolidated, tagged, and searchable resource. Rock Creek developed and executed the project plan; created the design, information architecture, and wireframes; recommended features to enhance usability and functionality; and worked closely with the World Bank’s in-house IT team to deliver a series of files to the client for further internal development.
